SCOR announces one-off bonus to eligible employees

Global insurer and reinsurer SCOR, has announced a decision to award a one-off bonus of €1,000 to all of its employees in France who are on a salary that is less than 1.5 times the minimum wage. A bonus of €500 will be awarded to employees in France with a salary of between 1.5 times and 2.5 times the minimum wage.

Award BonusAccording to the re/insurer, 30% of its employees in France will receive this one-off bonus, which is expected to be paid by the end of February 2019.

Furthermore, the bonus is exempt from taxes and social charges, and is being awarded in the context of the government’s decision in December last year to improve purchasing power.

The new bonus is in addition to the performance shares SCOR awarded in December 2018 to all group employees around the world, with almost 1 million SCOR shares distributed to over 2,800 employees.

The firm states that its performance share award policy has always been a strong element of its remuneration policy since 2005, and the firm sees it as a way to align the interests of the group’s shareholders and employees over the long-term.
