Sompo International announces agricultural insurance partnership

Specialty property and casualty re/insurer Sompo International Holdings’ global agricultural platform has entered into a partnership to offer crop insurance solutions to the agricultural sector in Portugal.

Sompo InternationalThe partnership between AgriSompo and Portuguese Managing General Agent ATLAS Segurmina will result in the offering of a variety of traditional crop insurance products and will expand into new products and coverages to help address the evolving needs of farming operations in Portugal.

AgriSompo combines technical expertise and global capabilities to deliver re/insurance solutions to meet the needs of agri-businesses in key markets around the world.

Headquartered in Lisbon, ATLAS is focused on delivering traditional and progressive insurance solutions to crop farmers within Portugal.
