Sompo International, a global leader in commercial and consumer property and casualty (re)insurance, has made key appointments to its North America Reinsurance leadership team.
Apundeep Lamba has been named Head of Reinsurance, Canada, while Denise Sheehan has joined as Senior Vice President, Head of North America Accident & Health Reinsurance.

Apundeep Lamba brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously served at The Co-operators Group Limited, where he oversaw the company’s corporate actuarial and reinsurance services function.
His expertise spans corporate actuarial, underwriting, reserving, and pricing, gained during his tenure at leading (re)insurance companies serving the Canadian market.
Denise Sheehan, the new Senior Vice President and Head of North America Accident & Health Reinsurance, brings a wealth of knowledge from her 23-year career at QBE North America, where she led several Accident & Health (A&H) (re)insurance teams and program portfolios.
She holds notable designations including CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty) and ARe (Associate in Reinsurance).
