Strategic Risk Solutions, an independent provider of insurance, reinsurance and captive management and consulting services, has announced that SRS Luxembourg has been appointed as the dedicated captive manager for the Knauf captive providing all-inclusive management services.
Knauf is a multinational, family-owned company based in Iphofen, Germany, well known for drywall gypsum boards, founded in 1932. The company is a producer of building materials and construction systems.
Marcus Reichel, Knauf’s Global Head of Insurance, said: “We are delighted to work with SRS going forward, equally excited to embark on a long-lasting journey together with the SRS team and explore further risk financing solutions for our Group.”

Earlier this year, SRS acquired a majority interest in Alpha Isle Services, a specialist medical stop loss claims administrator headquartered in Massachusetts.
