Industry giant Swiss Re has appointed Anna Ziswiler as the Head of Property and Casualty (P&C) Reinsurance for Southeast Asia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea, effective May 1st, 2026.
In her new role, Ziswiler will be based in Singapore and become a member of the P&C Re Management Team, reporting to Urs Baertschi, Chief Executive Officer of P&C Re.
Additionally, she will also take on an expanded role and serve as Country President for Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea, and India, simultaneously.
Currently, Ziswiler leads Swiss Re’s P&C Re business in 20 markets across the Middle East, Pakistan, Israel, the Mediterranean and Switzerland.
She has over 15 years of reinsurance industry experience at Swiss Re, during which she has progressed through various roles of increasing seniority in strategy, operations, and reinsurance in Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America.
Ziswiler began her career working in the private sector development in Washington, at the World Bank.
