Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, the direct, large commercial insurance division of global reinsurance giant Swiss Re, has named Christine Springob as its new Head Sales North America.
The promotion is effective as of February 5th 2018 and in the new role, Springob will lead the development and execution of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions distribution and sales strategy in the United States and Canada.
Springob, who will be based in New York, succeeds Sylvain Bouteillé who has taken on a global role leading Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ primary lead initiative.

Springob has 25 years of insurance experience, having joined Swiss Re in 1991. In her time at the company she has held positions across both reinsurance and insurance divisions, specifically in underwriting and sales.
Most recently, Springob was Head Key Account Management, where she managed strategic client relationships for the firm.
“I look forward to strengthening my relationships with clients and brokers as we continue to grow locally and increase our primary offering,” Springob said.
