Tata AIG General Insurance Company has announced the hire of Sanket Vadkhalkar as its new Chief Manager for Reinsurance. He will be based out of Mumbai in this role.
Vadkhalkar’s area of expertise is in the Facultative Reinsurance sector.
Previously he was the Assistant General Manager at J.B.Boda Mumbai and was responsible for handling the Treaty Reinsurance business.
Vadkhalkar was managing treaty placements for the company. His remit included marketing, placement and servicing treaty business for Non-Marine and Marine LOB’s across Asia, Africa and Europe.
Vadkhalkar has also held a senior position as a Reinsurance Manager for Facultative Placements at HDFC ERGO General Insurance
Vadkhalkar has also served as an assistant manager at Salasar Services Insurance Brokers for its facultative reinsurance segment.
Vadkhalkar was also the Deputy Chief Manager of K M Dastur Reinsurance Brokers where he was in charge of complete claims servicing, client relationship servicing and placement and claims servicing of the company’s inward reinsurance property business with Indian insurance companies as foreign facultative reinsurers.
