TigerRisk Partners has appointed Mitchell Rosenberg to be a new partner and managing director of TigerRisk Capital Markets & Advisory (TCMA), its investment banking division.
Rosenberg is joining the firm from Aon, where he held the role of managing director at Aon Securities.
Prior to that he was an assistant vice president at Swiss Re, advising global insurance companies on structured reinsurance solutions to support M&A, capital management and other strategic transactions.
He will be based in New York and will report to Philipp Kusche, global head of ILS and capital solutions.
Kusche said in a statement: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Mitchell’s caliber to the team at a time when TCMA is growing its offering and expertise. Mitchell will help drive Tiger’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our clients, and especially continuing the build out of TCMA’s ILS platform focused on catastrophe bonds and other ILS and capital market products.”
Founded in 2015, TCMA is an insurance-focused investment banking group. The team covers a broad range of insurance carrier and insurance services companies and offers expertise in M&A, capital raising, general strategic advice, and ILS. It has been recently particularly active in the catastrophe bond space with bringing several new sponsors to the market.
