TigerRisk Partners, the reinsurance and capital advisory, and Cape Analytics, a property data and analytics company, have partnered to provide proprietary before-and-after aerial imagery to speed up the processing of insurer’s Hurricane Irma Claims.

TigerRiskHurricanes Harvey and Irma left many U.S. insurers with limited access to the claims adjustment resources needed to efficiently handle claims received for policyholder’s property loss and damage.

Crosby Branch, TigerRisk’s U.S. Head of Innovation, recognised the opportunity to aid TigerRisk’s clients with Cape Analytics’ capabilities; “We instantly saw the value Cape Analytics could bring to our clients by helping them identify the properties in their portfolios most impacted by Irma, prioritize their claims efforts and then deliver the level of service their customers have grown to expect.”

TigerRisk and Cape Analytics helped insurers identify reported and unreported losses to TigerRisk’s clients with the use of proprietary before-and-after aerial imagery.

The aerial footage enabled carriers to determine losses and manage claims from even the most hard hit and difficult to access regions.
