TigerRisk makes two senior appointments

TigerRisk Partners has made two new senior appointments.

TigerRiskAccording to a LinkedIn post from the company, the firm has hired James Loggie, who will join the global trade credit, surety and political risk business, and become a partner.

TigerRisk has also appointed Joel Hodges to be both partner and head of analytics, international.

Loggie will drive TigerRisk’s aspirations to become the global leader in credit and related lines. Meanwhile, TigerRisk said Hodges will be an asset in leading initiatives on product lines for enhanced business performance.

TigerRisk said in the post: “As we undergo critical expansion growth, it’s great to bring industry talent to the TigerRisk team and continue to strive in achieving maximum business potential.”

Both men provided statements. Loggie said it was a fantastic time to join the company.

He added: “I’m excited to be able to use my expertise from my previous positions in the credit, surety, and political risk sector, and drive the company to strive on a new venture into this specialised class.”

Hodges said: “TigerRisk is the most dynamic, innovative brokerage in the global reinsurance marketplace. Their dedication to constantly improving the quality of their analytics offering is a huge attraction.”

According to his LinkedIn profile, Loggie is joining TigerRisk from Willis Re, where he was most recently senior director for credit surety and political risk. He has also held positions in Guy Carpenter, Atradius, and AIG.
