Tiptree has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2026, reporting a net income of $5.2 million, down from $6.4 million in the same period last year. Despite the lower quarterly profit, Tiptree continued to build balance sheet strength and return cash to shareholders.

As of September 30, 2026, total book value rose to $903 million, or $24.47 per share. Through October 28, 2026, the company deployed $25 million to repurchase common stock at an average of 30% discount to book value per share.

In addition, the Board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per share, payable on November 23, 2026, to stockholders of record as on November 16, 2026.

Tiptree management also noted that with its disciplined framework, which includes prioritising lean operating costs, opportunistic share buybacks, and thoughtful consideration of dividends, it remains focused on streamlining operations and managing costs to support sustainable growth.

This quarter, Tiptree entered into a definitive agreement to acquire USIG, a specialty property & casualty insurer operating in both admitted and excess & surplus (E&S) markets.

The transaction reinforces specialty P&C underwriting as a core pillar of Tiptree’s strategy. USIG brings proven underwriting capabilities in attractive markets and a leadership team with a strong track record of disciplined growth.

With the addition of USIG, Tiptree believes it is well positioned to create long-term value through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
