Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has announced that Alex Dugand has been promoted to Regional Managing Director of TMK’s Asian operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, and China.
He will now oversee TMK’s business in these regions, and Kin Lau and Susanna Quek, country heads of Hong Kong and Singapore, will report to him.
Dugand was most recently Regional Underwriting Director for TMK’s Asian business, and joined TMK over a decade ago as a reinsurance underwriter.
He will report to Charles Franks, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TMK, who commented: “I am delighted to announce Alex’s promotion to the role of regional managing director, Asia.
“Alex is an accomplished underwriter whose regional market expertise, skill in building profitable books of business and ability to foster collaboration between our Asia teams and international offices have been core drivers of growth for TMK.
