Validus Specialty Underwriting Services, Inc. has announced that it has added an admitted, private company Commercial Directors and Officers (D&O) policy to its product portfolio, and that, concurrently, Julianne McAdams has joined the company as Senior Underwriter of Commercial Directors and Officers Liability.
The new customisable policy will provide broad coverage and management liability protection for private company business leaders, and can provide D&O, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, and Commercial Crime & Cyber Liability.

The Commercial D&O team is part of the Professional Lines group led by Cossu, which has recently focused on growing its product portfolio with the additions of a Fintech package and Standalone Cyber policies.
The D&O team will now also benefit from the addition of McAdams, who will be joining Validus Specialty’s Atlanta offices to focus on underwriting complex risks across mid to upper middle market clients.
