Data analytics provider Verisk has announced three key changes to its executive management team, including the appointment of Kathy Card Beckles from Chase Consumer Bank as exec vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary.
Effective April 5, Beckles will replace Kenneth Thompson, who announced his retirement late last year.
“We’re thrilled to have Kathy join our already deep and talented Verisk executive management team to lead our world-class legal function,” said Scott Stephenson, president, chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Verisk.
“Kathy brings extensive experience in intellectual property and technology and significant expertise partnering with and advising boards of directors and management teams. I look forward to Kathy formally joining Verisk and working with her to advance our long-term strategy.”
Furthermore, Verisk’s Chief Operating Officer Mark Anquillare, has been given the added responsibilities of leading the company’s insurance and government-facing businesses as well as customer experience.
Anquillare joined Verisk nearly 30 years ago to modernise the finance function at the company.
His previous Verisk leadership positions include Chief Financial Officer from 2007 to 2016 and controller from 2000 to 2007.
Lastly, Verisk’s current Chief Financial Officer Lee Shavel is set to add oversight responsibility for the operations of the company’s energy, specialized markets and financial services segments.
Verisk says this move strengthens the link between its capital allocation discipline and business unit operations.
