Volante Global Limited, an international managing general agent (MGA) platform, has announced the appointment of Jerry Probert as Underwriting and Franchise Director.
The appointment also sees Probert join the Volante Executive Committee and Volante Global Board, and he will work closely with the firm’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Talbir Bains, as well as the Executive Committee.
He brings more than 35 years of industry and underwriting experience to the role, and was most recently Director of Europe at QBE’s European Operations. Probert joined QBE in 2007 from Gen Re, where he led its UK and European Facultative Casualty and Financial Lines portfolios.
