W/R/B Underwriting, a W. R. Berkley-syndicate, has appointed Jaymin Patel as Senior Construction Underwriter.
Patel brings a strong background in both Underwriting and Broking, and will further bolster the capabilities of the team.
He joins from Alesco Risk Management Services where he was partner for just over two years.
In that position, he oversaw the production of global Construction & Engineering re/insurance business.
Prior to that position, Patel worked for RSA as Senior Underwriter. He worked for RSA for over six years, holding different roles including Construction Underwriter, and Construction & Engineering Underwriter.
Responsible for underwriting a wide variety of construction and erection risks within the London Market Construction, Engineering and Renewable Energy book.
Patel is experienced in underwriting UK, US and other International risks on both a project and annual basis.
