UK law firm Weightmans has added two partners to its insurance team.
Paul Hughes joins Weightmans’ team in Newcastle from Thomas Miller Law, with the aim of establishing and growing a personal injury team for the firm in the North East. Alice Wilson, meanwhile, joins in London, where she will act for insurance clients across a broad spectrum of property and built environment claims, including, in particular, those relating to property and business interruption, as well as professional indemnity insurance.

According to Weightmans, Hughes and Wilson are joining a firm with over 1,300 employees and offices in many of the UK’s major cities.
