White Mountains names Liam Caffrey CFO

Former Aon executive Liam Caffrey has been appointed by financial services holding company White Mountains to serve as its next Chief Financial Officer, effective March 2022.

white-mountains-insurance-logoCaffrey, who is currently serving as a consultant to a subsidiary of the White Mountains, previously spent nine years at Aon, as both Chief Executive Officer of Affinity and global Chief Financial Officer of the broker’s Risk Solutions business.

Prior to that, Caffrey was a partner with McKinsey & Company.

Meanwhile, Reid Campbell, White Mountains’ current Chief Financial Officer is set to transition to the role of President until his retirement in February 2024.

In his role as President, Campbell will maintain all his current executive duties other than his responsibilities as CFO.

In addition, Campbell will continue to serve as a director of Build America Mutual Assurance Company and Ark Insurance Holdings Limited.
