Willis names Anant Pawar as Aviation & Space Leader for India

Willis, part of global insurance broker WTW, has appointed Anant Pawar as the Aviation & Space Leader for India, effective immediately.

WTW - Willis Towers Watson logoIn this new role, Pawar will be responsible for providing strategic insurance broking solutions and specialised services to aviation clients across the country.

Pawar brings extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience, with a strong background in aviation, space, reinsurance, and liability.

Over the course of his career, he has led several major initiatives, including obtaining a Lloyd’s license for operations in India and enhancing MGA capabilities to support the development of a dedicated Aviation Consortium tailored to the Indian market.

Prior to joining Willis, Pawar held multiple senior positions at Global Insurance Brokers Private Limited (GIB), where he played an instrumental role in the company’s expansion and long-term success.
