WTW adds Mary J. Bahna-Nolan to its Life Insurance Consulting & Technology team

WTW, the global re/insurance broker has announced that Mary J. Bahna-Nolan has joined the firm as a Senior Director on the North American Insurance Consulting & Technology (ICT) team, where she will be based in Chicago.

In the role, she will report to Kim Steiner, Division Leader for the Life Insurance practice within ICT at WTW.

Overall, Mary brings more than three decades of industry experience towards her new role WTW.

Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of senior roles at global re/insurers, in addition to a position as a consultant with PwC, before starting her own consultancy, from which she joins WTW.

She brings a deep degree of expertise in leadership and client engagement towards her new role.

In the role, Mary will work directly with clients within the life insurance industry.

Additionally, the role will also see her develop strategic solutions and focus on life insurance products, underwriting, analytics and pension risk transfers, along with collaboration on other key client accounts and initiatives.

WTW recently partnered with the University of Geneva to assess global systemic risks arising from large volcanic eruptions.

Further, WTW recently revealed that it will receive funding from the US Agency for International Development (USAID) to develop a climate-resilient insurance solution that aims to unlock climate adaptation investment from the private sector.
