WTW and software company CodeEast are to collaborate on enabling MGAs and carriers to rapidly implement a digital platform for workers’ compensation insurance.

WTW - Willis Towers Watson logoThe collaboration will be centred around CodeEast’s ONEview platform, which now includes functionality tailored for US workers’ compensation insurance. This includes a workers’ compensation ratings component delivered through WTW’s Radar Live.

Taffy Jo Mayers, global proposition leader for commercial lines pricing and underwriting, insurance consulting and technology at WTW, said: “This combination of tools gives MGAs and Carriers the enhanced capabilities and efficiency benefits they need to accelerate innovation, connectivity, and digitalisation in the competitive US insurance market.”

According to its website, the Ireland-based CodeEast’s ONEview is a platform for the automation of the sales, distribution, and processing of insurance products and services.

Aidan Brogan, Chief Commercial Officer at CodeEast, said: “The combination of the ONEview digital insurance platform and the Radar Live rating engine is genuinely value adding for MGAs and carriers in the workers’ compensation market. It provides enhanced pricing and modelling, efficient control over distribution, and end-to-end automation with real-time underwriting governance and oversight.”

Tremor - The modern way to place reinsurance

This is not the first collaboration between the two firms. Last November, they announced a global partnership offering a new digital transformation solution for insurance companies and MGAs.

Financial details of this latest collaboration were not made public.
