WTW has appointed Julie Baker to be its new lead relationship management for the banking sector.
Baker will begin her role in April, moving to WTW after working for over two decades at Marsh. There, she designed and managed bespoke financial lines programmes for a broad spectrum of financial services clients within the FINPRO division.
At WTW, she will be responsible for growing and developing the company’s portfolio of banking clients.
Baker will report directly to Marcus Porter Wright, GB head of FINEX Financial Institutions.
In a statement, Porter Wright said: “We are delighted to announce Julie as our Lead Relationship Manager for the Banking sector. Her extensive experience in managing and developing the financial services sector allows us to provide added value to both our FINEX proposition and to our financial services clients. We are delighted to be attracting high calibre talent from our competitors into our global FINEX line of business which remains a considerable growth area for WTW.”
WTW has already made a number of new appointments this month, with Robert Gardner joining the company in a senior renewable energy role. WTW is also understood to be forming a new Crisis Management unit.
