WTW appoints Victor De Jager as head of property for Europe

WTW has appointed Victor De Jager as head of property for Europe.

WTW - Willis Towers Watson logoIn his new role, De Jager will be based in Amsterdam and will report into Garret Gaughan, head of direct and facultative, alongside Anne Pullum, head of Europe and head of commercial risk and broking (CRB) for Europe.

Gaughan said in a statement: “We are delighted to welcome Victor to the WTW team. He brings extensive industry experience, and his appointment coincides with the ongoing expansion of our global property and casualty business.”

He added: “Victor joins us at an incredibly exciting time for our global property and casualty business, as we continue to solidify our proposition and support our clients with innovative solutions. Victor’s appointment demonstrates our on-going commitment to recruiting the best talent to support our property and casualty colleagues around the globe.”

De Jager was formerly at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), where he led the global practice group for property. In his new role, he will work together with the European broking leadership to ensure that the placement strategy brings the best of the global marketplace and WTW to clients. He will also be responsible for risk solution development on behalf of clients, working closely with other regional property leaders globally.
