WTW bolsters aviation team with acquisition of Sydney-based Aerosure

Willis Towers Watson has acquired aviation industry specialist Aerosure, as the broker looks to bolster its own capabilities in the space.

willis towers watsonSydney-based Aerosure will be integrated into WTW’s global aerospace business, with the former firm’s Managing Director Greg Rector set to serve alongside his colleagues as MD, Australasia Aviation Division.

Simon Weaver, Head of Corporate Risk & Broking, Asia and Australasia, and Head of Australasia, underlined Aerosure’s leading-status as an aviation industry specialist.

“Over the years, it has not only grown to become the pre-eminent specialist Aviation broker in the region but has contributed to the growth and development of the aerospace community in Australia and New Zealand,” Weaver said.
