WTW bolsters Southeast and Mid-Atlantic FINEX teams

Re/insurance broker Willis Towers Watson (WTW) has announced several senior appointments within its Financial, Executive and Professional Risks (FINEX) teams for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

willis towers watsonSamuel Stern has been appointed as Director, Southeast FINEX Commercial Team Leader, reporting into Chris LoRe, Senior Director, Commercial East leader.

Stern will be responsible for client retention and as well as building the FINEX market in the Southeast.

He was originally at J. Smith Lanier / MMA Southeast, as Senior Vice President within the firm’s Executive and Professional Liability Practice, and has experience in the placement of large and complex insurance programs.

In addition, Shonda Manigault has been promoted to Associate Director for the Southeast FINEX Commercial Team to partner with Stern in developing strategy, execution and management of the Southeast FINEX business.

Manigault has been the lead broker on some of the largest accounts within the region and also leads as FINEX’s Retail Industry leader.

And furthermore, Kenneth Latham has also joined Willis Towers Watson FINEX as Associate Director, Mid-Atlantic FINEX Commercial Team.

He will be responsible for all aspects of the client service cycle for the mid-Atlantic book of business, supporting new business activities within the region, and participating in key FINEX initiatives.

Latham was previously at Chubb as Vice President for North America Financial Lines and has management experience in professional liability insurance including risk analysis, contract review and negotiation, product development, reinsurance, new business development and compliance.
