Advisory and broking solutions company WTW has named Hector Martinez as its new head of Latin America.
He is to succeed Luis Maurette, current head of the region and head of global sales and client management, who is to retire on 31 December, 2022.
Maurette will work with Martinez and the three WTW geography leaders Anne Pullum (Europe), Imran Qureshi (North America), and Pamela Thomson-Hall (International) to ensure a smooth transition of his responsibilities prior to his retirement.
Martinez has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector, and has served in various leadership roles in WTW since joining the company in September 2001.
Prior to WTW, Martinez served as executive director of Willis Limited, CEO at Willis Colombia Corredores de Seguros S.A., head of Colombia and head of Latin America Corporate Risk and Broking.
