XL Catlin promotes Environmental Team members

XL Catlin has announced a string of promotions for European members of its International Environmental team.

XL Catlin logoPromotions include Dan Alexander Lothian to Underwriting Manager, Environmental for UK & Ireland, Ludovic Ruiller to Underwriting Manager, Environmental for France & Benelux, and Simone Te Kamp to Senior Underwriter, Environmental for Benelux.

Adias Gerbaud, Head of Environmental, International, commented: “European multinational companies are increasingly aware of the need to minimise their environmental exposures and to have effective risk transfer solutions in place, wherever they operate.”

She added: “As we look to keep growing our environmental insurance portfolio across Europe, we need to invest in our talent and further develop the team.

“Dan, Ludovic and Simone have all demonstrated tremendous expertise and been successful in their respective markets and I have full confidence that they will thrive in their new roles.”

The International Environmental Team offers a variety of environmental risk solutions to XL Catlin’s clients across the UK & Ireland, Latin America, and the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions, including Pollution & Remediation, Legal Liability, and Contractors Pollution Liability.
