Zi Jai Li named head of Munich Re’s Beijing consulting service, SiTao Consulting

Zi Jai Li has been appointed Managing Director of Smart Thinking Consulting (Beijing) Company Limited (SiTao Consulting), Munich Re’s technology-based consulting service in Beijing.

Munich ReLi is also responsible for the reinsurer’s innovation lab in Beijing and in his new role, will report to Steven Chang, who was recently appointed as CEO for Greater China at Munich Re.

He brings more than a decade of experience in end-to-end digital insurance solutions in Greater China, Korea, and Southeast Asia. Prior to Munich Re, Li was Chief Digital Officer at Chubb China and led the firm’s InsurTech and distribution partnership with major tech players in China.

He has also worked as Head of Digital Programs / Head of Digital China at AIG, as a Digital Program Manager at Whittington Private Equity / Direct Asia and as Digital Transformation Consultant at Accenture Singapore.
