The UK arm of global insurer Zurich has announced the appointment of Mark McCausland as its new Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role, McCausland will help drive strategic initiatives, enhance the market experience, and support the responsible adoption of new technologies.
He brings more than 30 years of insurance industry experience, joining Zurich UK after 21 years at Chubb. During his tenure, he held leadership roles across actuarial, enterprise risk management, capital management, business operations and transformation, and served on boards in both France and Switzerland.
Most recently, McCausland served as Global Head of Transformation at Chubb.
He began his career holding positions at Bacon & Woodrow and Lane Clark & Peacock LLP.
