Michigan-based Acrisure is to launch its own cyber services division.
The company, which already has insurance, reinsurance, real estate services, and asset management divisions, said that it is forming Acrisure Cyber Services. The fintech company said that its new division would offer businesses an all-in-one solution encompassing risk assessment, insurance, security and antivirus, and recovery.

In response, Acrisure Cyber Services delivers a solution for the full spectrum of cyber risk, from insurance to cybersecurity and data recovery. We are excited to bring this new capability to market alongside our growing suite of products and services.”
The new division is to be led by Bill Meara, who will act as President of Acrisure Cyber Services.

Joining Meara is Adam Abresch, EVP of Cyber Solutions, who leads Acrisure’s Cyber Insurance Practice. Other members of the team include Michael Amaral, chief revenue officer, and Queena Kim, director of operations.
There have been a few moves around the Acrisure group of companies in recent days. Earlier this week, it announced that Ming Li had been appointed global head of cat modelling for Acrisure Re, while the company announced that earlier this month it was going to acquire Appalachian Underwriters and US Administrator Claims. December saw Acrisure acquire the MGA and TPA operations of SUNZ Insurance.
