Acrisure Re expands fac division into Poland via Smartt Re deal

Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of global insurance broker and fintech platform Acrisure, has announced that its facultative team is set to expand into the Polish market via a preferred partnership broker agreement with Smartt Re.

acrisure-logoHeadquartered in Warsaw, Poland, Smartt Re is the leading reinsurance broker in Poland and has a significant role in the wider region.

The company is part of MJM Holdings brokerage group specializing in reinsurance programmes in key sectors of the economies across the CEE facultative and obligatory reinsurance market.

The preferred partnership agreement with Smartt Re will provide Acrisure Re access to the local market, which is one of the largest for facultative reinsurance in Central Eastern Europe.

In addition, Acrisure Re will benefit from Smartt Re’s domestic knowledge and market relationships.

In return, Smartt Re will gain access to Acrisure Re’s global distribution network, broking expertise across the global re/insurance market, and the full suite of Acrisure Re’s analytical tools and solutions.
