Amwins, the Charlotte-domiciled global distributor of specialty insurance products and services, has appointed Jason Kunert to the newly created position of Head of Claims.

In his new role, Kunert’s remit will include being responsible for leading efforts around building and managing Amwins’ formal claims infrastructure.
He will also champion the growing and interconnected relationships Amwins has across the firm, to create consistency, streamline processes, enhance client experience and deepen specialization.
Kunert brings more than three decades of experience to the role. Most recently, he served at Hiscox USA, leading a claims group handling General Liability, Allied Health and Entertainment claims throughout the country.
