Anders Holm has been promoted to the role of Chief Actuary at SiriusPoint International.
In the role, Holm will oversee the Stockholm Actuarial team, which uses its expertise in finance and statistics to forecast risks and liabilities.
At the same time, he is also responsible for oversight of SiriusPoint International’s loss reserves.
Holm has been with the firm for almost 15 years, and since 2016 has been the Reserving Process Leader within SiriusPoint’s international business.
Meanwhile, in their Q123 results, SiriusPoint reported a net income of $139 million, on a core combined ratio of 80.5%, helped by a significant improvement in the performance of its reinsurance segment.
Additionally, SiriusPoint and Arcadian Risk Capital, a Bermuda domiciled MGA, recently extended their multi-year partnership through 2026 as Arcadian looks to continue with its ambitious growth strategy.
