Reinsurance broker Aon Benfield has promoted Leonora Siccardi, appointing her to the role of Chief Operating Officer of Aon Benfield UK, in addition to her role as EMEA & UK Head of Client Services.
Siccardi will report to Nick Frankland, UK CEO of Aon Benfield, and Maggie Westdale, CFO of Aon Benfield, in the new position.
The role will see Siccardi overseeing strategy, leadership, development and execution of policy and practice in all operational areas of the UK Aon Benfield business.
She will be specifically tasked with creating a platform for the broker’s continuous growth and improvement in the UK and will take a position in the UK executive leadership team, working across Aon Benfield UK and its various support functions.
Siccardi takes on the new role in addition to her existing responsibilities as EMEA & UK Head of Client Services, a position she’s held since 2017. In this role she reports to Maggie Westdale, Richard Posgate (co-CEO of Aon Benfield EMEA) and Nick Frankland.

Siccardi joined Aon in 2006 and became UK Head of Client Services in 2016, having joined Aon Benfield from Aon Risk Solutions. She previously served as Head of Claims Advocacy at Aon Risk Solutions since June 2014, responsible for the development and delivery of a claims strategy for the Aon Benfield Global Broking Centre in London.
