Arch Insurance International, part of Arch Capital Group, has announced the appointment of Tom Stoyle as Senior Underwriter, Contingency, effective 24th November.
Stoyle will join Arch from Hiscox, where he has served as a Contingency Underwriter since 2016.
He joined Hiscox in 2013 and initially worked within the Political Risk, Contingency and Kidnap & Ransom teams.
The announcement follows the recent appointments of Chris Rackliffe as Head of Contingency and Accident & Health and Claire Atley as a Senior Underwriter, Contingency.
“We are delighted that Tom will join our highly experienced contingency team as we continue to bolster our presence in the sector,” said Rackliffe.
“We are well-positioned to further support our brokers by working collaboratively to deliver informed solutions, backed by responsive service and supported by a highly experienced claims team.”
Offering insurance solutions on a worldwide basis, the contingency team at Arch operates across multiple sectors, such as event organisers, media companies, broadcasters, advertising agencies and sponsors.
Coverage includes event cancellation, non-appearance, weather, terrorism and political violence for events, prize indemnity, film production and advertising agency protection.
Arch also recently became part of the UK Government Scheme for Live Events which began in September and provides cover for live events in the UK which are open to the public, including music events, sports events and trade shows.
