Arch Reinsurance Group, part of Bermuda-based Arch Capital Group Ltd., has appointed William Soares as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Arch Reinsurance Ltd. in Bermuda, and Jon Schriber as CEO of Arch Reinsurance Company in the U.S., effective immediately.
Both Soares and Schriber will report to Jerome Halgan, who was named CEO of Arch Global Reinsurance Group last month.
Soares has been with Arch for two decades, and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility within Arch Re in Bermuda, including as President of Arch Reinsurance Ltd. since 2025.

Schriber joined the Bermuda-based firm from reinsurer PartnerRe in 2023 as President of Arch Reinsurance Company.
