Independent specialist re/insurer Apollo has appointed AXIS Capital’s Nerina Wright as Head of Sustainability.
In her most recent role at AXIS, Wright served as ESG London Market Lead.
Overall, she brings over three decades of experience towards her new role.
In a statement, Wright said: “Sustainability is systemic. It is a responsibility shared by all to make profit and purpose complementary. That was the resounding message in all the conversations leading up to me joining Apollo.

Meanwhile, Apollo recently announced its new ICX Consortium through its Apollo ibott 1971 division. The firm noted that its new ICX vehicle will deliver bespoke insurance products previously outside of Syndicate 1971’s core offering including intellectual property, parametric solutions, new mobility and more.
