Gallagher’s specialist Norwegian marine and energy brokers, Bergvall Marine and Parisco, will be rebranded as Gallagher from July 11th onwards.
The companies, based in Oslo, were acquired by Gallagher in 2013 and 2021, respectively.
Bergvall Marine offer insurance and risk management services to clients including ship-owners, managers, offshore contractors, shipyards and finance institutions.
Founded in 2001, Parisco is a marine and energy broker serving contractors, offshore service vessels, exploration and production companies, shipping, passenger vessels and renewable energy clients.
The two businesses will continue to operate independently under the direction of Anders Mjaaland, Managing Director and Dag Magne Torjussen, Chief Executive Officer. The two specialist firms employ around 30 risk professionals between them.
