Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), the commercial insurance arm of Berkshire Hathaway, has appointed Carsten Keune as Country Manager for Poland, marking its entry into the Polish market.
BHSI’s entry into Poland aligns with the insurer’s long-term commitment to support regional businesses with local underwriting expertise, responsive claims service, and specialised insurance solutions backed by its financial strength.
In his new role, Keune will be based in Warsaw and lead BHSI’s business in Poland and Central & Eastern Europe, shaping its market strategy and building strong relationships with customers and brokers.
He has extensive insurance experience, deep market knowledge, and proven leadership skills aligning with BHSI’s commitment to investing in experienced talent as it expands across Europe.
