Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI), a commercial property, casualty, and specialty insurer, has announced the appointment of Bertrand Le Gall as Head of Casualty in France.
Le Gall brings two decades of industry experience to his new role. He joins BHSI after 17 years at SCOR, where he most recently served as Regional Manager for Casualty and Professional Lines EMEA.
Prior to that, he worked as Actuarial & Economic Capital Manager at AXA Corporate Solutions.
Louis du Ché, Country Manager for France and Belgium at BHSI, expressed enthusiasm for the appointment, stating, “Bertrand’s deep expertise will fuel the ongoing profitable growth of our casualty portfolio and relationships in France and worldwide.”
He added, “I am excited to have him leading our efforts to bring the strength of BHSI’s capacity and CLAIMS IS OUR PRODUCT philosophy to market.”
