Independent specialist re/insurance brokerage BMS Group has announced the appointment of Neil Prior as Director in its Global Risks division.
Prior, who brings over 30 years’ experience to the role, joins from Priority Underwriting, a company he Co-founded and served as Chief Executive Officer.
Reporting to BMS Managing Director Ian Gormley, he will support the Global Risks division by developing market relationships and exploring new distribution channels.
Prior has also held senior roles at Scimus Power, Chubb, JLT Group and Marsh Global Broking.
“Neil is a recognised leader in both underwriting and broking, with a deep understanding of the needs of clients and markets alike,” said Gormley.
“I am excited that BMS continues to attract talent like Neil and welcome him to BMS.”
Commenting on his appointment, Prior said, “BMS’s Global Risks division is a fast-growing team within the Group and the industry.
