Specialist re/insurance broker BMS Re US has appointed Paul Knutson, who joins from Willis Re, to Executive Vice President.
Knutson will assume responsibility for expansion of business targeting regional multi-line and coastal property catastrophe reinsurance clients, reporting directly to BMS Re US CEO Andrew Bustillo.

Knutson brings more than 20 years broking experience to his new role, including most recently having served as geographic leader of Willis Re’s upper Midwest Personal & Small Commercial business.
Prior to Willis he worked as a Partner at TigerRisk Partners, where he was Managing Director for more than 10 years at Guy Carpenter.

Knutson will joine BMS Re after he serves out his contractual obligations with Willis Re.
