Credit and political risk re/insurance broker BPL Global has announced the appointment of Gregory King-Underwood as Director and Head of Global Reinsurance and Portfolio Solutions.
A former barrister, King-Underwood has worked at Guy Carpenter since 2012, where he recently headed up the broker’s trade credit, political risk, and surety and bond practice
In his new role, he will be based out of BPL Global’s London office and will be responsible for helping the company capitalise on synergies between credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) and the reinsurance markets.
King-Underwood will also be charged with providing portfolio-based cover for efficient risk transfer and better use of capital for both financial institution and corporate clients.
