Breckenridge Insurance Services, a U.S wholesale commercial re/insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Alex Rinehart as Director of its Property and Casualty (P&C) operations.
In addition to his new responsibilities, Rinehart will also retain his position as a Senior Vice President (SVP) and Broker at Breckenridge.
He will now be responsible for leading the wholesale P&C brokerage and program underwriting teams, and will continue to work with retail agents and grow his book as an established property broker.
Rinehart will also oversee the implementation of policies and procedures, and the application of technology to process, service, and analyse Breckenridge’s business.

Rinehart was originally hired by Breckenridge as a Business Analyst in 2010, becoming an Associate Broker in 2012 and earning multiple company honours since then.
“Having lived in both production and back office, I can leverage that dual experience and work closely with all team members toward our shared mission,” said Rinehart.
He continued: “Our goal is to provide our producers with the tools and support to maximize production, through an efficient service team that maintains the high levels of speed and quality that our agents and carrier partners have come to expect.”
