Cape Analytics, a provider of property data for the insurance and reinsurance industry, recently announced the formation of its advisory board as it continues to expand.
Cape Analytics was founded in 2014, and offers accurate, up-to-date, structured property data for insurance and reinsurance companies. According to a statement from the company, unlike other companies that are artificial-intelligence-focused, Cape Analytics provides a vertical solution that “directly feeds into carriers’ current workflows.”
The establishment of an advisory board includes experts from both the insurance industry and the technology sector, and includes:
Rich Boyle, previously the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of LoopNet, Tom Hutton, the Managing Partner of XL Innovate, Paul VanderMack, previously Chief Product Officer at RMS, Luc Vincent, VP of Engineering at Lyft and also the creator of Google Street View, and Neal Wolin, former President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the P&C segments of The Hartford, and was also Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Treasury under President Obama.
New Board member and advisor to Cape Analytics, Neal Wolin, commented; “Cape Analytics possesses a unique combination of differentiated technology and a deep understanding of industry needs. Their capabilities and approach have enormous relevance to the insurance industry and to many other verticals. I am excited to work with them as they continue to grow.
