Christos Adamantiadis joins Marsh as CEO of combined Middle East & Africa region

Global insurance and reinsurance broker Marsh has announced the appointment of Christos Adamantiadis as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a newly combined Middle East and Africa region, effective May 1st, 2018.

In his new role, Adamantiadis will be based in Dubai and report to Flavio Piccolomini, President of Marsh International. The position will see him take responsibility for Marsh’s operations across the regions, assisting clients and ensuring access to all of the firm’s solutions and services.

He brings 25 years of industry experience to the role, most recently serving as CEO of Oman Insurance Company, a Middle East insurer. He previously spent 20 years with AIG, and was responsible for overseeing the firm’s operations in numerous locations, including the Middle East, North Africa, Russia, Central and Eastern Europe.

The broker has also announced the appointment of Ayman El Hout as Country Leader for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), effective June 1st, 2018 and reporting to Adamantiadis. Also based in Dubai, El Hout brings 35 years of industry experience to the role, and most recently served as deputy CEO of Al Sagr National Insurance.
