Coalition, and active insurer focused on preventing digital risks, has launched Login Security, a new feature in its cyber risk management platform, Coalition Control, that helps small and midsize businesses (SMBs) prevent business email compromise (BEC).
To help prevent BEC – which saw a 15% increase in 2025 to become the number one driver of cyber insurance claims -, Login Security offers an automated defence for email accounts.
This feature continuously monitors for suspicious login behaviours and auto-contains confirmed threats, automatically kicking out attackers in milliseconds and providing enterprise-grade Identity Threat Detection & Response (ITDR) at no additional cost to global Coalition policyholders.

Less sophisticated defences often rely on manual detection, meaning by the time a business notices a suspicious login, the attacker has already had the opportunity to redirect funds or manipulate data, turning what should be a minor security event into an avoidable loss, Coalition explained.
In contrast, Login Security offers automated remediation that stops BEC within milliseconds, preventing malicious actors from causing real damage.
