Cytora adds Thomas Huerlimann to board of advisors

UK insurtech Cytora has announced the appointment of Thomas Huerlimann to its board of advisors as the company looks to bolster its growth plans.

CytoraHuerlimann brings 30 years of experience in banking, reinsurance and insurance.

He joins a team of existing advisors that includes AXA XL’s former Chief Executive, Client and Country Management Kelly Lyles, who was appointed in February.

Huerlimann spent 15 years at Zurich Insurance, where he most recently served as CEO, Global Corporate. He also held roles at Swiss Re and National Westminster Bank.

Today, Thomas serves as a non-executive director at Hiscox, and is an advisor to Drake Star Partners and selected insurance technology companies. He holds an MBA from IMD.
