Ethos, a life insurtech backed by Munich Re and Assurity Life, has expanded its executive team with the appointment of Brett Wilson as its first Vice President of Risk & Actuarial.
Wilson brings nearly two decades’ experience to the role and joins from Old Mutual’s Latin American division, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.
In his new role Wilson will lead Ethos’ underwriting efforts, focused on managing risk while maximising efficiency and ease of use for consumers and carrier partners.
“Ethos is building a wholly new model for life insurance, from the ground up. We need the best on our executive team to accomplish that at scale and give millions of families the protection they need,” said Peter Colis, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder at Ethos.
