Greg Fleming is standing down from his position on the Council of Lloyd’s, just a handful of months after the investment management professional took up the position.
Fleming, who was most recently the President of Wealth Management and Asset Management at investment banking group Morgan Stanley, before which he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Merrill Lynch, took up a nominated position on the Council in April of this year.
Now, he’s standing down due to work commitments, as he has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Rockefeller Capital Management.
Fleming will relinquish his position on the Council of Lloyd’s immediately and the process to find a replacement is already underway.
The Council of Lloyd’s ensures that the specialist insurance and reinsurance market acts in accordance with Lloyd’s Acts 1871 to 1982 and complies with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000.
